Here are some Data Art pieces I made while in ITP.

The first one is Bon Voyage: A project dedicated to the romantic journey of the voyager. Voyager, the first man made object to cross into interstellar space, what if we can use its data to make this journey into a never ending sound? Bon Voyage is a conceptual soundification piece made with Kate

This one is called America's Best Enemy: From Communism to Terrorism. It's a data visualization of how often the words "Communism" and "Terrorism" in New York Time.

This is called the Boundary of Knowledge. It's more of a conceptual piece. The basic concept here is we can only obtain knowledge that is documented in a familiar language. For example, on Wikipedia, there are around 1000 "Vital articles" that they suggests every language should have included. If we can treats them as the "core knowledge of mankind", then what fascinates me is the fact that there are so many articles are only exist in only one or two languages. By using this method, I can even tell what different languages actually shares similar world view.
